Moonshiner runner car. When I bought the car from an old guy in the Bitton Lake area in 1980, it did not have a back seat and he really did not want to sell the car to me. He wanted me to buy is 1946 Ford Coupe.
When the Mercury was sand blasted we found 2 bullet holes in the lower area, near the gas filler, that were leaded in. That is probably why the was repainted not totally matching the original color.
